Unknown gun men have abducted Mr. Enock Maku, Senior Special Assistant to the Chief Judge on Information and Protocol.
Enock was kidnapped at Agyaragu, Lafia Local Government, in the late hours of Wednesday.
Confirming the incident, Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) Ramhan Nansel said that the police had swung into action and two persons were released following a fierce encounter with the abductors.
Nansel also noted that investigations are still ongoing to trace the whereabouts of the kidnapped victims and their abductors.
The PRO appealed for calm, noting that the police is working to ensure Enock is released unhurt.
