The All Progressives Congress (APC) has congratulated its four victorious candidates in the five legislative bye-elections conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Saturday, September 19, 2026.
The National Publicity Secretary of the party, Felix Morka in a congratulatory message in Abuja on Monday, gave names of the victorious candidates as Kallamu Usman MaiJama’a of Gombe/Kwami/Funakaye Federal Constituency, Gombe State; Husseini Datti of Dawakin Kudu State Constituency, Kano State; Okolosi Ator of Udu State Constituency, Delta State; and Yakubu Ali of Disina State Constituency, Bauchi State.
“This massive win is a solid demonstration of the Party’s organisational strength, grassroots support, and the confidence reposed in the APC by the electorate.
“Coming ahead of the 2027 general elections, the results demonstrate our party’s wide acceptance and strengthen our resolve to work assiduously for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all candidates of our great party across the country,” he said.
He further stated that the party extends its profound appreciation to its teeming members, leaders, stakeholders, and campaign teams, particularly party supporters in Gombe, Kano, Delta, and Bauchi States, for their full faith and confidence in the APC.
“We thank them for exercising their democratic rights and entrusting our candidates with the important responsibility of representing them.
“As we congratulate our victorious candidates, we charge them to remain humble in victory, accessible and responsive to their constituents and to deliver high-quality representation, leadership and development to their constituents.
“Our commendations go to the INEC for the successful conduct of the bye-elections and to our security agencies for ensuring peaceful and secure elections.
“We deeply appreciate all Nigerians for their steadfast support of our great party and President Tinubu’s administration. This support has earned our Party consistent and towering victory in all bye-elections conducted since the 2023 general elections.”
The party, however, reiterated its commitment to strengthening Nigeria’s democracy, deepening public confidence in democratic institutions, and advancing the Renewed Hope Agenda for the benefit of all Nigerians.
