Femi Gbajabiamila Mourns Dr Chamberlain Dunkwu

The Chief of Staff to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Rt Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Dr Chamberlain Dunkwu, describing him as a great loss.

The late Dr Chamberlain Dunkwu, 54, a highly respected loyal chieftain of the All Progressive Congress, APC, passed on March 7, 2026, in Abuja.

He was, until his death, the Deputy Chief of Staff, Legislative, to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt Hon. Tajudeen Abbas.

Dr Dunkwu had served as a special adviser on members’ affairs to the then speaker of the 9th House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, between 2019 and 2023.

The All Progressives Congress, APC, on Saturday, expressed shock over the death of Dr Chamberlain Dunkwu, describing him as a loyal party man.

The ruling party also said it was deeply saddened by the death of Dunkwu, “an energetic, selfless and loyal party man who contributed enormously to building and strengthening the party in his native Ika Federal Constituency, Delta State and beyond,” a statement by the National Publicity Secretary of the party, Felix Morka, stated.
