The group, operating under the Musa Youth Support Initiative for Renewed Hope (MYSI–RH), has commended Jerry Adams, the Executive Chairman of the Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service, for distributing over 1,200 bags of 25kg rice and other food items to the Muslim community across Southern Kaduna during the blessed month of Ramadan.
In a statement shared by Samuel Ateh Stephen, Convener and National Coordinator of MYSI, the group described Adams’ gesture as a remarkable display of leadership and generosity. They noted that this act reflects his deep compassion for humanity and his unwavering commitment to supporting less privileged and vulnerable members of society during this sacred season of sacrifice, love, and charity.
“Comrade Jerry Adams continues to stand out as a visionary leader and a dedicated humanitarian, serving as a beacon of hope and inspiration for many across Kaduna State. His humility, generosity, and passion for community development exemplify true service to the people,” the statement emphasised.
The group also highlighted how his philanthropic efforts complement the people-centred and inclusive leadership of Uba Sani, the executive governor of Kaduna State, whose administration remains committed to improving the welfare of citizens throughout the state.
“We celebrate and appreciate Comrade Jerry Adams for this impactful initiative and for continually demonstrating that true leadership is characterised by service, compassion, and dedication to humanity,” the statement concluded.
It is also worth noting that during this time, Ramadan fasting and Christian fasting are being observed simultaneously in Nigeria and Kaduna State.
