“I belong to Saudi Arabia” – Ronaldo Dismisses Transfer Speculation

Cristiano Ronaldo has responded to speculation about his future, and he did not mince words. Following Al-Nassr’s 4-0 victory over Al-Hazem, the Portuguese star made it clear that he is content where he is.

According to BBC Sport, Ronaldo stated, “As I’ve said many times, I belong to Saudi Arabia.” He added that he and his family have been treated well since arriving and that he is content to continue his journey there.

The comments come amid new rumours that there may be tensions behind the scenes at Al-Nassr.

There had been speculation about his long-term future, particularly during the transfer window, but on the pitch, he responded in the best possible way: with goals.

Ronaldo scored twice in the comfortable victory, demonstrating that age hasn’t dulled his instincts in front of goal.

Since his high-profile move to Saudi Arabia in December 2022, he has remained the most prominent figure in the Saudi Pro League. His arrival transformed the league’s profile overnight, and he remains its main attraction.

At 41, he continues to deliver when called upon. And if his recent comments are any indication, he sees his future as firmly tied to Saudi football.
