The Chairman of the Kaduna State Media Corporation (KSMC) Management Board, Mr Yakubu Lere El-Sa’ed, has strongly refuted reports of his alleged resignation of his appointment from the state-owned media organisation.
His refutation is contained in a statement he personally signed and made available to newsmen on Sunday in Kaduna.
Mr Lere El-Sa’ed described it as a malicious, false, and misleading report, alleging that he has resigned his appointment as Chairman of the KSMC Management Board.
“My attention has been drawn to a malicious, false, and misleading report alleging that I have resigned my appointment as Chairman of the Kaduna State Media Corporation (KSMC) Management Board.
“I wish to categorically state that I have neither resigned nor contemplated resigning from this appointment.
“I remain fully committed to the responsibilities entrusted to me and continue to discharge my duties in accordance with the mandate of the Kaduna State Government.
“The publication is a fabrication by mischief makers intended to misinform the public and create unnecessary speculation,” he stated.
He therefore urged the public to disregard the report in its entirety, stressing that KSMC remained focused on strengthening the corporation and supporting ongoing reforms in the public communication sector of the state.
