Minister of Defence retired Gen. Christopher Musa-led support group has successfully inaugurated 23 local government area structures under the guise of the MUSAWAH For Youth & Development Initiative in Kaduna State.
The inaugurations of zones 1 and 2 of the LGAs officials held at the MUSAWAH head office on Tuesday in Kaduna marked the final lapse of the political support base for President Bola Tinubu’s and Governor Uba Sani’s re-elections ahead of 2027.
In his inaugural speech, the National Coordinator of MUSAWAH, Amb. Polycarp D. Gankon said the initiative is a movement inspired by the exemplary leadership philosophy of the Minister of Defence to support President Tinubu’s and Governor Uba Sani’s re-elections.
He said the Tuesday event witnessed the final officials inaugurated for the 23 LG structures, making a total of 92 officials, consisting of coordinators, secretaries, women and youth mobilisers in each of the 23 LGAs of the state.
He also directed the LGAs’ officials to inaugurate 9 persons in each ward, including desk officers, secretaries and 9 officials, with a view to championing General CG Musa’s ideas to mobilise their youth and ensure their message of progress resonated with every citizen.
“We also stand firmly in support of President Bola Tinubu and our own Governor Senator Uba Sani, working hand in hand for a better Kaduna State and a stronger Nigeria,” the coordinator stated.
He also stated that the initiative planned to expand beyond the shore of Kaduna State and had already established a presence in some states in north-central Nigeria, among other states.
Highlights of the inauguration include the distribution of APC posters such as flags, banners, forms, fliers and other documents to enhance the work of the officials after the inauguration.
