The management of Naija LiveTV has announced the appointment of Elder Chris Odi as the managing editor and editor-in-chief.
Naija LiveTV also announced the proposed plan to stream its TV network on satellite with a collaboration process with Nigerian Communications Satellite Limited (NIGCOMSAT).
Elder Chris Odi is a graduate of English Language from the University of Port Harcourt in Rivers State and holds a diploma in journalism obtained from the Times Journalism Institute.
Odi, who is a veteran journalist with over 28 years of experience.
He has worked as a teacher, teaching English language and literature in English, before transferring his service to the Bayelsa State Ministry of Information, from where he retired as a director.
He is from the Isampou community in the Ekeremor Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.
Naija LiveTV, established in 2017, is a growing media and communication outfit based in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital.
The media outfit has a newly equipped office with a state-of-the-art live studio with a podcast section, a live TV studio and the soon-to-be-launched Naija Live Radio.
