The Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been unveiled officially in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, to strengthen diaspora engagement and global partnerships.

A historic milestone was recorded today as Nigerians in the diaspora and advocates of progressive global leadership gathered in Atlanta, Georgia, to ignite the Renewed Hope Agenda (USA), a visionary initiative championed by His Excellency, Mr Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

The high-profile event convened distinguished community leaders, captains of industry, professionals, civic advocates, and Nigerians abroad, all united by a shared commitment to Nigeria’s economic revitalisation, national renewal, and sustainable development.

The Renewed Hope Agenda represents a bold and comprehensive policy framework aimed at repositioning Nigeria for inclusive growth and global competitiveness

Speaking at the event, the convener, Mr Austine Dafe, emphasised that the Renewed Hope Agenda (USA) is designed to showcase the achievements of President Tinubu’s administration while deepening collaboration between Nigeria and its global diaspora. He noted that the initiative will create structured pathways for foreign direct investment, knowledge transfer, policy advocacy, and cultural diplomacy, reinforcing the indispensable role of Nigerians abroad in national development.

Mr Dafe reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to building “a Nigeria that works for every citizen—a nation that inspires confidence, fosters enterprise, and embraces opportunity across all sectors of society.”

The message resonated strongly with the attendees, many of whom expressed renewed optimism and enthusiasm to actively support programmes that leverage the diaspora’s expertise, capital, and innovation to accelerate Nigeria’s transformation.

Keynote speakers at the Atlanta event underscored the strategic importance of diaspora engagement, acknowledging the pivotal contributions Nigerians abroad continue to make through remittances, entrepreneurship, technological innovation, and global advocacy. Speakers stressed that sustainable national growth requires a unified effort between citizens at home and those in the diaspora.

Under President Tinubu’s leadership, the Renewed Hope Agenda has already begun delivering measurable outcomes. Bold economic reforms have strengthened fiscal discipline, stabilised key financial indicators, attracted international investment, and expanded opportunities for private sector participation. Major infrastructure initiatives—including highways, rail corridors, energy projects, and digital connectivity—are reshaping Nigeria’s physical and economic landscape and laying a solid foundation for long-term prosperity.

The forum also acknowledged the exemplary leadership and unwavering support of His Excellency, Hope Uzodinma, the Executive Governor of Imo State, for his outstanding track record and consistent alignment with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda. Participants commended Governor Uzodinma for his positive contributions to policy implementation, governance reforms, and institutional support that continue to strengthen the administration’s development objectives. His commitment to the Renewed Hope vision was recognised as a model of collaborative leadership and progressive governance in advancing national unity and sustainable growth.

The agenda further prioritises national security and human capital development, with targeted interventions aimed at enhancing safety, expanding access to quality education, improving healthcare delivery, and equipping Nigerian youth with relevant skills for the 21st-century global economy.

The Atlanta event concluded with a strong call to action for unity, civic participation, and sustained collaboration between Nigeria and its diaspora community, reinforcing the belief that Renewed Hope is not merely a slogan but a collective national mission toward shared prosperity, dignity, and global relevance.

In his closing remarks, the Convener, Mr Austine Dafe, announced that Ambassadors of the Renewed Hope Agenda (USA) will be officially sworn in on a date to be announced soon.
