The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas, has congratulated the Director-General and Chief Executive Officer of the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), Engr Abisoye Coker Odusote, on the occasion of her birthday.
In a goodwill message Tuesday in Abuja, the Speaker commended Coker Odusote for her dedication, professionalism and commitment to public service.
He highlighted her impressive performance as former general manager of the Lagos State Infrastructure Maintenance and Regulatory Agency (LASIMRA), noting that she had continued to demonstrate strong leadership and innovation at the helm of NIMC.
According to Speaker Abbas, her achievements at the Commission reflect “competence and consistency in public administration, particularly in strengthening Nigeria’s national identity management system”.
He also stated that her leadership further underscores the importance of expanding opportunities for women in governance and public service nationwide.
The Speaker praised her as a “role model whose work continues to inspire women and young Nigerians to pursue excellence and contribute meaningfully to national development.”
He added that “Coker Odusote’s career stands as evidence of the depth of talent available in Nigeria to drive progress and institutional growth.”
Speaker Abbas prayed for her continued good health, wisdom and success as she continues to serve the nation as he wished her a joyful birthday celebration and greater accomplishments in the years ahead.
