President Bola Tinubu has extended warm felicitations to the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu, on the occasion of his birthday, commending his leadership and contributions to Nigeria’s democratic process.
In a statement Tuesday in Abuja by his special adviser on information and strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the president described Kalu as a committed lawmaker whose dedication to legislative excellence continues to strengthen democratic institutions.
Tinubu noted that the deputy speaker has distinguished himself through intellect, patriotism and constructive engagement in national development, particularly through his role in lawmaking.
The president further acknowledged Kalu’s efforts in promoting unity and cooperation within the House of Representatives, saying his leadership style has contributed to a more cohesive legislative environment.

“I wish you more years of impactful service to Nigeria and humanity,” Tinubu added.
Kalu, who represents Bende Federal Constituency of Abia State, has been a prominent figure in the 10th National Assembly, playing a key role in legislative reforms and policy debates.
