Former Governor of Zamfara State and Director General, All Progressives Congress, APC, Presidential Campaign Council, Senator Abdulaziz Yari, has assured Nigerians of the party’s fulfillment promises, saying that Fidelity to Campaign is the hallmark of the party.Senator Yari made this known at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja, on Sunday on his return to the country, stating that the party will fulfill pledges made ahead of the 2027 general elections, especially, winning the presidential election for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s second tenure in office.
The Campaign DG, who was welcome to the country by a crowd of supporters said: “I want to assure Nigerians that whatever promise we made during our campaigns shall be kept. Today, we have seen him, (Tinubu) as President and by the grace of God, he will continue to be the president, come 2027.
“Also, addressing the crowd of supporters who converged on the airport reception area, the senator expressed gratitude for the reception, attributing their presence to a shared national vision and spiritual support for the administration.
“The crowd are here to pray for me and for the success of Mr. President. Our party is synonymous for keeping to our words. We pray that Almighty Allah will give him our President, Tinubu, the wisdom to lead this country. We assure Nigerians that we shall fulfill all our campaign promises,” he said.
Looking beyond the immediate electoral cycle, Senator Yari expressed confidence in the party’s long-term standing with the Nigerian public, saying, “We pray that our party will continue to be the party to lead the country after President Tinubu’s second term.
“A seasoned political strategist and former Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum, (NGF), Senator Yari brings decades of legislative and executive experience to the political engine of the ruling party.
His appointment is widely seen as a strategic move by the APC leadership to consolidate political structures across the northern region and streamline national campaign operations ahead of the 2027 general elections.His arrival in the country, marks his official assumption of duties following the official announcement of his appointment as the Director-General, APC Presidential Campaign Council on Saturday.
