According to him, governors chosen on the All Progressives Congress (APC) platform are still dedicated to starting and finishing projects that provide citizens with real advantages.

The completion of the road has delighted the residents of the benefiting communities, who said it will boost economic activity, improve transport, and improve connectivity between nearby communities.

The construction of the 7.5-kilometer Kajiji–Sanyinnawal Road and the 13.5-kilometer Madera–Darin Guru–Jabo Road in Shagari Local Government Area was also initiated by Governor Idris after the commissioning.

Addressing stakeholders at the flag-off ceremony, the Kebbi governor said the invitation to perform the official assignments in Sokoto would further strengthen the long-standing relationship between the two neighbouring states.

Additionally, he expressed confidence that the administration’s performance would continue to garner public support and urged Governor Aliyu to maintain the pace of delivering people-centered projects.

Earlier, Governor Ahmed Aliyu expressed gratitude to his counterpart from Kebbi State for accepting the invitation in spite of the short notice, characterising it as an indication of the friendly ties between Sokoto and Kebbi states.
