The National Youth Service Corps has sent 2,050 corps members to Bauchi State for the 2026 Batch ‘A’ Stream 1 orientation. The National Youth Service Corps has deployed 2,050 corps members to Bauchi State for the 2026 Batch ‘A’ Stream 1 orientation exercise.
The Bauchi State NYSC Coordinator, Mr Kufre Umoren, said this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria on Tuesday in Bauchi.
According to him, registration will take place from January 21 to January 23 at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp in Wailo, Ganjuwa Local Government Area, in the state.
He stated that the corps members’ swearing-in ceremony is scheduled for January 23, and the orientation exercise will end on February 10.
Umoren stated that each corps member would be allowed into the camp after being properly certified as a genuine graduate.
He stated that discreet screening of corps members would be conducted to prevent intrusion or impersonation.
“Registration dates have been announced to corps members, who are advised to strictly follow all camp rules and regulations.
“Defaulters will be sanctioned in accordance with the scheme’s current rules,” he stated.
The scheme also discouraged late-night travel and urged corps members to remain safe.
As a result, the state coordinator assigned corps members to be punctual, diligent, and dress code compliant, warning that failure to do so would result in disciplinary action.
